Fasting and Prayer (20th to 31st Dec)

As the year comes to a close, we are taking time out to fast and pray and to prepare ourselves for the coming year. Fasting makes you sensitive to the Spirit of God, helping you to grasp and appreciate what God is saying. During these 10 days of fasting, spend time to study God’s Word, pray and receive a word from God. The fasting days are Mon to Fri, 20th-24th Dec and 27th-31st Dec.

The following scriptures have been suggested for study during this time: Ezekiel 37: 1-14, Isaiah 55: 1-13, Hebrews 11 and Psalm 138

Our fasting ends on Friday the 31st of December when we all come together for a time of prayers and celebration. At this meeting we will receive the Word that God has for us in 2011. Join us for an awesome time at our New Year’s eve service starting 9pm to midnight.
